  1. INBRE Graduate Fellowship in Biomedical Sciences Students do not apply for
    these directly but should inquire with their department of study.
  2. Molecular Biosciences Program Fellowships. The MB Program will be offering fellowships beginning in the Fall 2006. Please contact Stephanie Cunningham at scunningham@montana.edu or (406) 994-6652 for requirements and information.
  3. EPSCoR Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Support Program The Montana State University NSF-EPSCoR program announces a unique opportunity for science and engineering faculty engaging in collaborative research projects to procure funding
    for new incoming PhD graduate students. NSF-EPSCoR will provide $22,000
    towards the financial support of each graduate student.
  4. Center for Biofilm Engineering The Center for Biofilm Engineering list a large
    number of fellowship opportunities and scholarships on their web site.          

     - Travel Funds and MSU Graduate Week

Beginning Spring 2007, the Molecular Biosciences Program will host a MSU Graduate Week.  The program will fund travel expenses for high-quality prospective graduate students in life science areas to visit MSU, tour the facilities, meet faculty, and hear hosted faculty research presentations.  Faculty will be able to submit a proposal for a prospective student to be included in the MSU Graduate Week.

     - Presentation Opportunities at Feeder Institutions

Beginning Fall 2006, monies will be offered to faculty interested in presenting
a research presentation at a feeder institution.  Please check back late summer 2006 for more information.
